Prof. Mrinal Kanti Kumar: What type of help we can get from Firstnaukri to bring the companies to the campus ?
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: Hello Sir, we operate a campus hiring platform, wherein we recruiters can search for campuses based on their hiring requirement. If your campuses has the candidates matching their criteria they may contact you directly for placement opportunity.
Dipak Kumar: Good evening. Wish to know how to connect the companies for the CAMPUS DRIE of our B-tECH batch 2018 now and afterwards for the B-Tech BATCH 2019 ?
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: The platform is currently being accessed by many recruiters. You just need to register the students under your campus profile. On matching the recruiter criteria they will connect with you directly.
sohan lal: we are facing one issue on Firstnaukri platform related to placed students.
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: That has being reported and we are working on making this a seamless experience.
Prof. Mrinal Kanti Kumar: Can we get direct contact details of the prospective companies from Firstnaukri ?
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: As per recruiter requirement they will send campus recruiter invitation directly to you. On acceptance by you. They will share the apply link with students and copy will be marked to you with subject line as " Student contact alert". On the same email you can reply to recruiters.
mgitplacements: Mr. Cobi, we did registered our students data into your portal but it seems there is a problem from our students to access, could you help in resolving the issue

Mr. Cobi Sarangal: This is a real time platform, where recruiter at his own convenience shortlist and contacts the campus TPO and students. as in when vacancy is available they will contact you directly.
sohan lal: Earlier our students applied in few companies but they didn't get any invitation for interview.

Mr. Cobi Sarangal: The FNAT score are not shared with recruiters, this for your perusal to find out the preparation level of students so that you as a TPO and student can work together on the weak areas and perform better when ever there is a hiring process on campus.
Sona College: Can we get some construction and infrastructure industries also as we are finding it difficult to place Civil Engg students...

Prameela: My 2nd Question, From First Naukri we have received 7 recruiter invitation for students to apply, But we are not feeling comfortable, why cont visit for campus drive
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: Companies have visited campuses through us. In terms of using the platform, please check for emails in your account with subject line " Student contact alert". You can reply on that mail and take an update directly from company / firstnaukri process owner.

Mr. Cobi Sarangal: Kindly ensure all students details from mentioned branch are uploaded in your platform so that as in when opportunity arises , recruiter can contact you for hiring possibilities. Dipak Kumar: Please note that unless we have any information regarding the type of IT and Core companies who are planning to do the campus hiring we will not be able allot date to any other companies
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: This is an open platform where in you can coordinate directly with the company and decide on the campus drive date / process.
Prof. Mrinal Kanti Kumar: Are you sharing the database with the companies or companies finds the database from your portal ?
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: The student database is protected under the TPO username and password . Once you accept an invite , the company can look at only the academic details of the students , after which the students are sent the job link - You receive a copy of the communication with subject line "Student Contact Alert" from where the TPO can co-ordinate further process with company.
Prof. Mrinal Kanti Kumar: Are the companies giving importance only on FNAT score or evaluating the candidates for shortlisting on basis of their overall academic performance ?

Mr. Cobi Sarangal: Step 1 - Upload student details in your campus profile
Step 2 - Companies may choose to send you an invite , if you have students who match their search
Step 3 - Mark students placed and accept the invite
Step 4 - When students are sent the job apply link , you receive a copy of the communication with subject line " Student Contact Alert"
Step 5 - Reply on the mail and co-ordinate directly with recruiter
Prof. Mrinal Kanti Kumar: In your opinion what are the things required for any college to be noticed by large number of employers ?
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: 1) Your campus profile should be updated , you have an optimization to add presentations , PDF , video , campus photos , google location etc
2) Ensure that students complete there profiles and add projects done , internships , certifications etc
3) Actively take action on the invites received . You should accept / reject invites within 24 hours
Neelakantappa: Mr. Cobi, we are nothing to do with the job apply link right? Just to let us know whats happening, a copy will be sent to us right?
Mr. Cobi Sarangal: You can track the students who have been sent the job , you can also track the students who have applied . These details are available in "Forward Jobs" section in your campus profile . The copy that you receive will have "Student Contact Alert" in subject line , this mail has to be replied upon for co-coordinating the process

Dipak Kumar: Please confirm students shortlisted by the company and selected after their aptitude test will the Interview round will happen in Kolkata or at company's premises?
