A Pan India national examination called the Zee Aptitude Test (ZAT)
Submission of students assignments
Interviews with Editorial and HR
Successfully complete a 9 months program with ZIMA
Last 3 months of the program will be internship with Zee Media and the students would be evaluated during the internship
After successfully completing the Internship, students will be placed in Zee Media

Sandeep Shetty: 1. Final Year students of Journalism, Business Studies, Engineering, Technology and other streams.
2. Graduates from any stream who have graduated in 2018 or appeared/appearing in 2019
3. For Technical positions Graphics, Video Editing software knowledge is mandatory
4. Proficiency in English, Hindi/ Regional language; both oral and written
5. Familiarity with technology, including computer, internet, mobile applications
6. Must have good knowledge of news developments in India and world

Sandeep Shetty: If you have completed your graduation in 2018 or appearing/appeared in 2019 then you are eligible to participate in the selection process

Sandeep Shetty: Zee Aptitude Test (ZAT) will be conducted in two phases - 14th April and 2nd June. It will be an online test feature a combination of General Knowledge MCQs and subjective essay-based questions in regional language. Sandeep Shetty: After successful selection of candidate, the candidate will get an conditional offer letter from Zee Media and he/she has to enrol for the 9 month Journalism program in ZIMA. The course will be conducted at ZIMA centers in Mumbai and Noida. The duration of the course is 9 months our of which the 3 months is internship with Zee Media with a stipend upto Rs. 10000/- per month. The course fee is Rs. 150,000/- plus GST and can be paid in instalments also.

Sandeep Shetty: Candidate can apply for the Zee Aptitude Test which is conducted online and scheduled on 14th April and 2nd June. After they clear the ZAT, then they have to give a MoJo assignment and appear for interview with Editor of Zee Media. After successful selection, candidate has to enrol for the 9 months program in ZIMA which includes 3 months paid Internship with Zee Media. After the program, the student will start their employment with Zee Media

Sandeep Shetty: The fee structure of the program is Rs. 150,000/- plus GST and can be paid in instalments also. Educational loan facility will also be available for the candidates.

Sandeep Shetty: The program will be conducted in ZIMA Mumbai and Noida. It would be a 9 month full time program from Monday to Saturday. The training will be for 6 months and next 3 months will be Paid Internship with Zee Media
Rajesh: What all job location options are available for a candidate who gets selected with Zee?
Sandeep Shetty: Students will be placed in Zee Media across various positions in TV, Online or Print Media. The job oppurtunities are across various locations across India with more positions available for North East and South India locations.

Sunny Bhaskar: What all softwares do you think will be necessary for the for the technical positons - Graphics and Video Editiing. Also are there any positions in 3d category and motion graphics using After Effects.
Sandeep Shetty: you should be have working knowledge of Graphics software like Photoshop and Premiere
Manoj: What will be the further steps after successfully completing the Journalism program in ZIMA? On what basis, a student will be evaluated if he/she doesn't have a background in Journalism?
Sandeep Shetty: During the 9 month program, the candidate will be evaluated regularly by Zee Media on their assignments and regular feedback for improvement given. The student will be evaluated through written examinations and projects. Zee Media HR team also conducts monthly feedback sharing session during their internship
