Sharmeen Khalid : You begin as a software engineer in the Engineering team. you will work on open source, internet technologies. you can then move on to solving more complex engineering problems related to scalability, traffic etc. you can then lead teams and become a project manager and lead large teams
Rahul: Is money the only parameter to decide?
Sharmeen Khalid : No, money can not be the only parameter that a student should have in mind while chosing a career. It has be a mix of job profile, industry type, technologies etc

Sharmeen Khalid : we look for bright, academically good students, with excellent engineering and analytical skills. We have a technical test based on aptitude, programming skills and database knowledge. besides technical knowledge we are also particular about hiring associates with good interpersonal and communication skills
abhishek verma: is there any scope for usability engineer or interaction designer in info edge......i am a PG student of human computer interaction in IIIT
Sharmeen Khalid : yes, we would like to meet interaction and usability engineering students

Sharmeen Khalid : This year we are not going in for electronics students unlike the previous years
arpit: what is the minimum C.G.P.I criteria you have ??
Sharmeen Khalid : for students to be eligible for the written test CGPA of 6 and above is needed

Sharmeen Khalid : Data base and os are integral part of the role. Hence we prefer guys who have knowledge of these
Rahul Sharma: Whats the maximum package that an enginering student incur in 2-3 years of career over there?
Sharmeen Khalid : It all depends on how well you do here. Compensation could range anywhere from 8-12 lakhs. these figures are as per our current salary bands, and get revised from time to time depending on market.
