Nilesh: We understand that some students have exams at this time, we are glad to inform you that we are planning to extend the abstract submission date by 10 days
Arun Sajeevan: My project is currently an ongoin one and there are many areas which needs further experimentations. Does Cloud 2020 want only the idea regarding the project or should it be quoting all findings?
Nilesh: You may submit the abstract with the basic idea. Experiments and findings in the paper will have a high weightage which should be included in the final paper.

Nilesh: The paper submission is online. Winners will present the final paper in Bangalore.
binny: sir , int he abstract form, what exactly we have to submit?
Nilesh: You have to submit a 1 pager abstract - define the problem which you are attempting to solve.

Nilesh: No limit on the number - but refer to the format on the website.
Mihir Sathe: Are 'examples' to be included in the abstract?
Nilesh: Not required in the abstract - but will certainly have a high weightage if you include

Nilesh: Yes, we have given an extension of 10 days.

Nilesh: Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand, as with the electricity grid.

Arun Sajeevan: What kind of a project are you expecting from an undergraduated student? Should it involve just the apps or a full scale imlpementation of a cloud network?
Nilesh: We want students to write abstracts (and later technical papers) on the topics which explain what we are looking for
suraj: will further be there the submission of full report on the selected abstract?????
Nilesh: Yes, shortlisted abstracts will be notified and those students will need to send the technical paper
Mihir: So we won't be able to use the same (or similar) paper anywhere else?
Nilesh: Not with the same content
Nilesh: All students submitting good abstracts and papers will have a chance to participate in internship program of Unisys provided they pass the Unisys selection process
nivedita: in the last time as well as this time cloud computing is choosen as main domain is any reason??
Nilesh: This is an emerging technology and Unisys is pioneering in this area

Nilesh: No - abstracts need to be submitted only on topics which are mentioned on the website

Nilesh: Your abstract should answer these questions: How? (Methods, results and interpretations; a brief explanation of your abstract) and What Next? (Significance and future directions)
Vishwanath: Sir, I am final year undergraduate of NIT Bhopal. I interned in TU Chemnitz, Germany and DRDO. I have submitted an abstract. How can this competition be helpful to find a career in Unisys?
Nilesh: Students with who have submitted good papers will get a chance to appear for interviews for jobs and internship at Unisys
Mihir: For virtualization, are we supposed to talk of it as a separate technology or somehow relate it with cloud comp?

Nilesh: Yes, abstracts should be about 300-500 words, though there is no restriction in submitting bigger abstracts

Nilesh: Wait for response from Unisys. If your abstarct is selected, you can start working further on it!!

binny: awarded papers will be published in any journal, like IEEE, ACM etc?
Nilesh: No. They will can be part of Unisys future white papaers

Nilesh: Abstracts should be written on the topic you have selected.
Vijay: Can "Consumerization of IT " deal with consumerization of cloud computing for other fields so that the users of that particular field can more generally use cloud computing for day to day tasks?

Nilesh: If you join Unisys after completing selection process, Unisys will be in a position to give you an opportunity to work on your research idea provided it is relevant to Unisys business objectives

Nilesh: Once your abstract is shortlisted, you will be notified to submit a technical paper

Nilesh: Paper contests like cloud20/20 will encorage you to undertake research and innovate. Good work done will defenitely reward you in your career!
Mihir: Sir I have submitted an abstract on 'security in cloud computing'. Is it better to cover maximum aspects of security(which i have done) or go with one point and put my own idea on it?
Nilesh: High weightage will be given to originality in thinking
